It's that time of year again when we know that Christmas is around the corner, and we hide from having to think about that question that we all know we are going to have to answer at some point. What do we buy our fella for Christmas?
The answer to this can completely baffle us, or maybe you have already been so worn down by thinking about it that you no longer care and you've reached the stage of anything will do.
In reality it isn't just at Christmas that we're baffled by the question of what to get our other halves, it's birthday's too, and the longer you've been with your man the harder it gets. Usually because you ran out of all of your creative ideas in the first fer years you were together, and you end up in what's quickly becoming known as a gift rut.
So how do you break the gift rut cycle? There's no easy answer to this and it very much depends upon your man, but if there's one thing I know about my man, he loves gadgets. It doesn't seem to matter much what kind of gadgets. His iPhone or iPad and the accessories he has for those devices, or a gaming device of some kind. Usually there are some peripherals or accessories that are linked to the gadgets he already owns that could make a great gift idea. For example, for iPad owners, a protective cover that doubles as a stand is the perfect accessory, or for an iPhone or iPod a portable mini speaker or iPhone charger will have him in awe.
The main draw seems to be that it's technology based, which is why you tend to find your man drawn to the electronics sections of your local department store, while you're actually trying to buy clothing. This is the biggest hint of all that you fella is a gadget man. It just takes you to use a little imagination, and a visit to the local gadget shop to find the perfect gift.
So take the hint from your man and listen to his ramblings about electronics, because with the pace technology is moving at, you'll have an endless supply of gift ideas for years to come.
