The way it works is that each of you has a Vialta Beamer which sits on top of the T.V in a special slim case.

How is it connected?:

You basically:

a) Plug your phone into the Beamer
b) Plug the Beamer TV into your T.V's RCA video jack
c) Connect the Beamer TV to your wall phone jack
d) Plug in the Beamer TV's power adapter.

Price: $47.97

No Wiring or Equipment Required: Therefore no service agreement, so there are no charges to use it so video chat is free!

Built-in Adjustable 0.25-Inch CMOS Camera: Comes with a remote control that captures full-motion video and transmits it to the receiver at 4 to 15 frames per second and comes with a camera cover which protects the lens from dust and scratches.

Negatives:

Some people have found that they don't always connect like it states and the picture quality isn't what Vialta report it to be. The set up is a little intricate for some so you may come to or have a different conclusion. Should these take your fancy however, for around $50 they're quite a sweet present.

Make Your Valentines Day Special With Personalized Gifts

Personalized Gifts always renders a sense of belonging to the person to whom it is gifted to, and it would hence become all the more special on Valentine's Day. Valentine's Day is all about expressing your love for your beloved and it would become all the more special if done with unique gifts. Personalizing gifts adds that extra touch of love, as it portrays that the gift has not just been brought from the store and wrapped up in a pretty paper. There are various ways in which you can personalize the gift, and you can be sure that your beloved is just going to adore it.

Monograms: The use of monograms, that is inscribing or etching, is one of the most used methods of personalizing gift items. You can etch the name of your beloved, or his or her initials on the backside of the gift. It can also have an intricate design. Many also inscribe quotes and notes on the gift. So items like watches, jewelry caskets and mirrors are good items to be monogrammed as the lid or the backside provides the adequate space for the inscription. Moreover, the costs of monogramming are very affordable and some stores even provide the services free of costs.

Inclusion of Handmade Items: What can be more personal or intimate than making something for your beloved yourself. Those who are good at handiwork, sometimes make the gifts with their own hands, like wall hangings, embroidered kerchiefs or scarves, candles, handmade jewelry with pretty beads etc. If you do not feel that much confident then you can decorate the hamper or the gift box yourself or make a lovely card with a romantic message. All it takes is few hours of work and lots of love, which there is surely no dearth of.

Love Messages: Romantic notes are always special, not just on Valentine's Day. But on this day, you feel like expressing your love like never before. So pour your heart out and tell him or her everything that you have ever wanted to say. It does not have to be poetic or does not require any flowing ornamented words either. Speak straight form the heart. If you want to use quotes, do it at the end. Simple words, simply spoken, has a greater impact than planned poetry which may not come naturally to you.

Personalizing the gift will make the gift just for whom it is gifted to, as if it was made for him or her alone and no one else. And it would also show that how much important he or she is to you for you to go out of the way and put that extra effort.

Christmas Gifts for a Boyfriend - Some Xmas Gift Ideas

It's in the title, Christmas Gifts for a Boyfriend, and the main word being gifts, not gift, meaning more than one.

The important thing here is one main present and a few smaller ones. Is he worth it? will he buy you more than one? You know the answers, so what gifts are you going to buy him.

Lets study the main present first. Perhaps he has a special sport or activity he is interested in. If your answer is yes, then is it an indoor sport or an outdoor sport.

Is he good at DIY? There are lots of electrical tools that makes all those jobs so much easier. How about hobbies, e.g. photography, music, maybe he has an interest in learning to play a musical instrument.

Is he a keen gardener? There are lots of gift ideas for anyone with green fingers.

Does he get lost easily? How about a GPS system, No more excuses for being late.

If he likes to read a lot, the all new Kindle is an excellent gift and does not cost the earth.

The list can go on and on, if he has an interest in the skies, there are some wonderful telescopes with all the accessories.

Golf is another favourite because of the many different accessories that can be bought for all golfing fanatics.

There are a lot of ideas there if you are looking for Christmas gifts for a boyfriend and we have not yet looked at the smaller presents you may want to buy him.

After spending a large amount of money on the main present, buying smaller gifts can be a lot easier to pick and will cost a lot less money.

For smaller or less expensive gifts, there is a whole range to choose from. Jewelry, watches, hats, gloves, scarfs, dvd's, video games and many more similar items to select from.

Don't get bogged down on any one particular item, it's far better if you review them all first and then break it down to two or three favourite items.

Then check to see which one you think will be the most popular for the lowest price. So how many different shops do you have to visit to see all these gifts? and then just pick one within your budget.

The good news is, there is one shop where you can see all these products and pick some smaller items also. If you go online as I do, you can purchase all your gifts in one main online store and get some great bargains.

Holiday Food Gifts Are A Great Choice

Holiday food gifts have become a popular item to give at Christmas time. Many times, we don't know the people we are giving gifts to that well, as in the case of a co-worker, boss, postal worker, or hair stylist. It is difficult to choose gifts in those situations because we are not that familiar with their taste and what they like.

That is why holiday food gifts make the ideal choice. Everyone likes food! Yet, around the holidays many people are short on time, and the time they do have is being spent running around buying the gifts they need to give out.

Food is always welcomed and appreciated. It can be shared with family and friends, and it saves them time in preparing the food.

Cookies are always a hit, the most popular ones being cut-outs and bar cookies. Fudge is also a favorite at this time of the year. These can either be homemade or purchased - all are good.

We always receive a cheese ball and crackers from a neighbor and we love it. It's something we wouldn't go out and buy for ourselves, but we sure enjoy it when it's there. Little gifts like that can mean so much.

If you want to make it extra special, you can put it in a gift basket and present it like that. Add in some gourmet snacks and you have a wonderful gift.

Chocolates are also high on everyone's list as great gifts they would like to receive. Gourmet chocolates in a pretty mug or basket will "sweeten" anyone's holiday.

Breads are also make nice gifts. You can make or purchase ones like banana, cranberry, or apple bread. Yum!

When giving food, so much of it depends on the presentation. A plate of cookies is nice, but when you dress them up with some pretty plastic wrap and ribbon, it becomes a gift. Put them in a basket with a pretty cloth underneath and it will make it that much more special.

Holiday food gifts are the perfect choice when you don't know what else to give. Give a gift that everyone will enjoy!

Promotional Gift Pens Are Perfect Gifts for Writers

I started the day with a bit of writer's block. It happens often and it usually means I really need to stretch my imagination to get my daily promotional gifts blogs out. But not today.

I visited one of my favourite article marketing submission sites, EzineAricles, and was hit right away by their logo. I must have seen it hundreds of time but today it hit me. The logo reads EzineArticles and has an illustration of a fountain pen. A

s I write this article it is the busy Christmas season and promotional fountain pens are selling like crazy. Something made me dig a little deeper.

I went to Google and typed 'writers' into the image search field.

Just as I predicted - and even in our modern times where everyone who is anyone uses a computer daily - all of the pictures were of pens. Each and every picture for the keyword 'writers' was of a pen. There were fountain pens, ball pens, rollerballs - you name it - they were all there.

This is significant if you are considering gifts for your top clients and employees. Chances are you do not want to give everyone - nor can most afford to give away free computers. But promotional pens are and always have been very popular promotional gifts.

We live in a very interesting time to be in business. You may have employees who have gone from being on reception to being your company blogger. Many of you will have customers who are fighting their way out of the recession by blogging daily about their products and services.

More often than not they will be typing their blogs into their own computers. Oh how times have changed!

I remember back in 1984 when I went to university. Back in those days, most students did not have nor did they know how to use a computer. I actually wrote all of my essays by hand and paid a typing agency to type them for me so that I could hand them for grading. Do typing services even exist any more?

The point I am trying to make - perhaps a bit long winded - is that we all still think of the pen when we think of writers or for that matter writing.

From well known logos to images on Google, the pen is that all important part of the writing experience. Even if it is not used to write the majority of our day to day work any more, the pen is still used every day to jot down notes and messages.

I cannot thing of a better gift for a top client or employee than a promotional metal gift pen. There are hundreds of options out there from Parker to Cross to Lamy.

If you have a customer or client who writes daily - even on a computer - the perfect gift for that person will be a promotional metal gift pen.

Think about it... Wouldn't you like to be given one?

Unusual Christmas Gifts - Valuable

Christmas is approaching fast, and it is one occasion in the year when everyone gives gifts to his dear ones. Giving of gifts adds to the festivities in the air and makes people more happy and joyous. Markets are already full of the latest and novel gift items and people are busy buying Christmas gifts according to the liking of the recipient. If you are the proud parent of a grown up boy who has just become adult, why not surprise him with some new and exciting Christmas gifts. As a male yourself, you are probably aware of the likes and dislikes of a young man. To make the day memorable for your son, you can think of some novel Christmas gifts making waves these days.

V8 supercars

Is your son interested in sports? Does he enjoy late night sports car racing? If the answer is yes, then you can buy a gift voucher for your son to have the thrill and excitement of driving V8 supercars. These are racing beauties he loves to watch on TV, and imagine the excitement on his face when he gets a chance to try his hands behind the wheels of his dream machine. These sleek cars run at a high speed and your son has always had a dream of someday driving such a car. Your son can now have a chance to drive in these fast cars on the same racing tracks he has seen on TV. If you are looking for unique Christmas gifts, these V8 cars are just the present you should give to your son.

Swim with dolphins

If you have a son who loves animals and nature, you can go for this unique and charming gift for him. Dolphins are considered to be the most intelligent mammal after humans, and they are surprisingly very friendly with humans. These dolphins love the company of humans and actually are playful with them. Swim with dolphins has slowly become a very popular sporting and recreational activities. Believe me, if your son is a nature lover, and you have caught him watching the national geographic channel quite often, he will love this present from you on the occasion of Christmas.

Gliding

Have you ever heard of gliding? It is a beautiful recreational activity that provides a lot of thrill and excitement to the person in the form of a free flight. It makes use of airplane like structures known as Para gliders which are engineless and come with a harness fitted. One can launch and then fly using his own hands. It however requires one to start at a place which may be at a height so that after attaining a suitable speed, the person starts to glide in air like a bird. If your son loves to have some thrill and adventure, you can surprise him with this wonderful activity as a Christmas gift.

However, more than the gifts you choose are your feelings that count and the sparkle in the eyes of your son when he receives any of these Christmas gifts will make your day.

Simple Christmas Gifts For Kids And Teens

Christmas time is when you have to go shopping for gifts. Many people get stressed out over this part of this great holiday and it's really not serious. To enjoy Christmas shopping and to make it easier you should go early in the beginning of December. Once the end of the month hits that's when the stores get over loaded with customers. Most kids and teens accept many different kinds of gifts. They love gifts like video games, books, clothes, shoes and other forms of entertainment. I recommend people to hit the stores early and shopping for gifts shouldn't be a hassle.

Shopping for kids can be more difficult than shopping for teenagers, it varies. Most Kids all ready have their mind-set on what they want for Christmas and they expect exactly what they want on that special day. Some simple gifts that most kids want are board games, books, movies, toys, clothes and virtual games. There are many stores that carry these type of items. You have the choice of shopping at Toys R US, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Kohl's and Macy's.

When it comes to teenagers the process gets a little easier. They tend to want gifts like Video games, Clothes shoes, movies and computer entertainment. You kind find these goals in various store like GameStop, Wal-Mart, Staples and Best-Buy. Remember shopping is fun, you just have to be ready. Also remember that gifts for teens are easier to choose in most cases.

It's time to get started today you don't want to wait until the last-minute. If you do this your gifts could be gone and this causes for more time in stores. Just make it simple and time manageable and you will be fine. Good luck!

How to Pick Christmas Gifts for Teens?

Yes, Christmas is not just about presents. But still the gift sharing protocol is something that few people can avoid. Some really enjoy it, but others find it particularly stressful, especially if choosing the right gifts for everybody is challenging. A lot of people find it especially complicated to choose the right present for their teenage son, daughter, niece or nephew. This is because teens tend to be very specific about what they enjoy and what they don't, and often intolerant to mistakes. However, there is also a good part in this. The fact that they have such strong preferences makes those preferences very easy to notice; all you need to do is pay attention. Here are a few ways to get clues.

As stated earlier, teens tend to be very upfront about what they like and what they don't. Place them in a shopping environment and it will become obvious. You can take them with you when you go shopping and pay attention to what they are attracted to. Or if you don't have the time for that, watch their reaction to TV ads. You will have a lot of occasions during the holiday season. Of course, not everything they wish for will be something that you want them to have, but hopefully you can find some compromise.

Does he/she have any special hobbies, such as being into a certain sport, or playing a musical instrument? Then something around that passion is always a secure choice. You just have to do your homework - make sure it's something useful, good-quality and that they don't already have it. There are plenty of product reviews you may read for the first two points.

Whatever you choose, a good safety measure is to ask the opinion of one of his/her best friends before you actually buy it. This way you almost can't go wrong. Also, if you need to buy something for other teens in your extended family, it is a great idea to delegate the task to your teenage son or daughter. They are probably better at it than the 'coolest' adult.

One other thing to remember is that trends shift very fast. Don't assume that if your kid wished for something really bad last year, it would make the perfect present now. You always have to check. In their world, even one month can be enough for something to go from 'the coolest thing ever' to 'so last season's'. And it does not only apply to fashion. Also, teens tend to be very brand-conscious. If you know he/she wants something, make sure you buy that precise brand and model. Substitutes are bound to fail. If he/she has wishlists on some web shops, you can use those for more information. However, always make sure you double-check, as they might be outdated.

If you don't want to go through all the trouble of overcrowded brick-and-mortar stores during the holiday season, you can shop online instead. Online retailers have discounts and promotions during this time of the year. But to ensure you get the best deals and prices, you may use a comparison shopping engine instead of a regular online store. Netishop has a wide selection of gift items for any occasion, and brings together a lot of different online stores. You can compare prices, delivery times, and read customer reviews to make sure you are selecting the right thing.
